Vic Tour from Barcelona

  • Departure from Barcelona (Carrer Casp, 34) on line 12 connecting Barcelona with Vic. Download timetables in the download section of this tab. 
  • Guided tour with audio guide through the city of Vic The meeting point to start the visit is the Vic Tourist Office located in Plaça del Pes, s/n (Vic). The Vic Tourist Office offers an audio guide service for visiting the city’s old quarter. They introduce you to the city with a lively, enjoyable, educational and exciting description. The visitor can listen to it in Catalan, Spanish French and English.
    The Mercadal or Plaça Major is one of the most emblematic and dynamic areas in the city. Every Tuesday and Saturday there is a weekly market here.
  • Admission to the Episcopal Museum with guided tours in Catalan, Spanish, French and English. The Vic Episcopal Museum has a prominent place among the museums of Europe and brings together one of the best collections of Romanesque and Gothic art in the world. Consult timetable here.
  • Admission to Casa Riera Ordeix (supplement of € 5), a dry curing chamber for llonganisses, the Catalan dry-cured pork sausage that is part of the very body of the city and the whole region. This part of local heritage has been recognized since 2001 with the PGI European label of quality (Protected Geographical Indication). The guided tour of the dry curing chamber includes llonganissa sausage tasting. Consult timetable here.
